Let’s be real: most of the “trendy” and budget-friendly furniture out there? It’s made from chipboard and laminate — aka, the fast food of furniture. It looks cute on delivery day, but give it a couple of years and it’s wobbling, peeling, and headed straight for landfill.
Meanwhile, older solid timber pieces — beautifully crafted, built to last, and full of character — are also being tossed aside because they look a little dated at first glance. (Translation: people can’t see past the orange varnish or clunky hardware.)
And if you’ve ever spent hours scrolling through mass-produced furniture listings thinking, “Ugh, why can’t I find THE piece I’m picturing in my head?” — you’re not alone.
With 11+ years of furniture refinishing under my belt (plus a design background), I transform old, overlooked pieces into bespoke, one-of-a-kind beauties that tick all the boxes: quality, style, and sustainability. How it works
Step 1: Complete the Questionnaire + Get Your Quote Within 48 hrs
Fill out the form below and give us all the juicy details about your piece. If the project feels like a good fit and we’re confident we can help, you’ll get a custom quote in your inbox within 48 hours. (No ghosting here — you’ll hear from us either way!)
Step 2: Agreement, Deposit, Pick-Up/Drop-Off
Ready to make the magic happen? Once you’re happy with the quote, we’ll send over a client agreement so we’re 100% on the same page. We do ask for a 50% deposit up front (this covers paints, handles, and other goodies to get started). Once your deposit is in, we’ll schedule your project and lock in pick-up or drop-off details if you prefer to bring it to us.
Step 3: Pre-Start Design Consult
When your piece arrives at my studio, we’ll jump on a quick call to talk through all the fun stuff — specific paint colours, handles, finishes, and design options. This is your chance to pick my brain, get some expert advice, and make sure your piece perfectly matches your style and home.
Step 4: The Big Reveal
Smaller pieces usually take up to two weeks, while larger items may take 3–4 weeks. Once your piece is finished, I’ll send you photos so you can have that first “wow” moment before you even see it in person.
Step 5: Final Payment + Delivery Day
When you’re thrilled with the transformation, we’ll send your final invoice. Once that’s squared away, we’ll lock in a time for you to collect your piece — or have it delivered straight to your door. You’ll also get a little touch-up paint pot and after-care instructions so your gorgeous new piece stays looking fabulous for years to come.
